TRAVEL : WHAT'S YOUR KICK ON YOUR TRAVEL LIST ?

Unique View On Earth

Well guys! There might be a lot of places you might have seen but some amazing mind blowing places that you should definitely visit once in a lifetime.
Let’s get started……..

1. Cusco

Vinicunca, also called MontaƱa de Siete Colores (Mountain of Seven Colors), is located in the Andes in the Cusco region of Peru.

2. Underwater waterfall, Mauritius

Waterfalls are already almost always spectacular, but an underwater waterfall – how does that even make sense? Diving into a mesmerising optical illusion, the Mauritian underwater waterfall is one that cannot be missed. The unbelievable phenomenon is actually sand, instead of a flowing region of water, pushed over by the ocean currents of the high coastal shelf, which then plunge into the deep sea abyss. Get on a helicopter or a plane to experience this next-level visual effect.

3. Fly Geyser, Nevada, USA

A result of a man-made wonder, the Fly Geyser was accidentally formed when a geothermal company drilled a well and clashed with a geothermal boiler in 1964. Looking like an alien hub, the thermophilic algae, which flourish in humid and hot environments, gives enchanting hues of red and green to the mound. So if you are wondering why this attraction is not flooding on your Instagram feed, it is because it was restricted to public access until two years ago. In 2016 the organisation behind Burning Man bought the private land making it accessible (for a price) to the public and group tours in 2018.

4. The “Gates of Hell”, Turkmenistan

When you picture a gateway to the underworld, do you imagine a ferocious fire pit? Well, this hell exists and you can visit it. Located near the village of Derweze in Turkmenistan, the Darvaza gas crater – nicknamed the Door to Hell, or Gates of Hell – comes with an interesting backstory. In 1971 geologists believed the cavern was an oilfield site, however they found a large gas pocket instead. Sources report that the ground collapsed, which created a wide crater filled with large quantities of methane. As methane poses health hazards, the Soviet scientists estimated that if they burned the gas, the problem would be solved. However, it created another problem – a hellish crater that has been continuously burning for more than 50 years.

5. Rainbow Mountains, China

With the nickname “the eye candy of Zhangye”, it is evident that the Zhangye Danxia landform in Gansu is brimming with natural beauty. Standing out against the plains of green and grey, the technicolour ranges are formed thanks to the accumulated red sandstones and minerals for more than 20 million years. Since 2010, the striped multicoloured mountains have been listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site.

6. Lake Hillier, Australia

Blue is out and pink is in – with its bubblegum pink hue, Australia’s Lake Hillier is an Instagram destination sensation. Most scientists speculate that the distinctive colour is a result of a high level of salinity and salt-loving microalgae species that live in the water. The best way to enjoy the awe-inspiring landscape is, of course, from a picturesque flight. Another option to get there is by a cruise, which is slower but still as exciting.
